These are all Olive Eggers Back Crossed through multiple generations from F1-BCOE 6th Gen. The Roosters covering the Hens are from 3 pens, Black Copper Marans/heavy bloom & speckled line, Frizzled Homozygous Blue Gene Roo & Homozygous Silverudds Blue Roo/heavy bloom and speckled line. The results of these pairings are all shades of green, greenish blues, dark speckled olives, some gray, high chance of speckles, and not too occasional browns (if one of the crosses doesn’t inherit the blue egg gene from Mama or Dad.)
